Position Summary

We are seeking an ambitious, positive, and energetic person with a passion for prospecting and lead management to join our Business Development team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the success in the hand-off of leads between marketing and sales by qualifying prospects funneled into the sales pipeline.

 

You will also gain a firm understanding of Corcentric’s products and financial technology solutions industry. We expect this role to manage inbound leads from various marketing channels, as well as conduct outbound prospecting to target customers.

 

This position has advancement potential within the marketing and sales departments, and the compensation package allows for unlimited commission based on achieved goals.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience with high number of daily activities including cold calls and emailing
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage online resources to research, identify and supplement data on inbound leads
  • Familiarity using Salesforce CRM (or a similar CRM platform) for lead management, sales tasking, campaign insights, and opportunity tracking
    • Eagerness to master corporate Salesforce lead management processes and assist in data accuracy
  • Experience making cold / warm contact with leads via telemarketing, email and social channels
    • Professional sales verbal and written skills
    • Able to articulate the Corcentric value proposition
  • Schedule follow up calls / onsite meetings for Outside Sales with key decision makers and influencers
  • Assist during follow up meetings by briefing Sales on their findings, taking notes during call and/or preparing relevant materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in phone-based lead generation, inside sales and/or business development activities
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office is strongly desired
  • Strong written and verbal communication required
  • Prior Inside Sales Development Representative, Inside Business Development Representative, and/or sales support role experience
  • Self-motivated, passionate and driven
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, keep organized
  • Strong communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated success in rapport building
  • Previous experience working sales and/or customer service
  • Passion for sales and the interest to build your career with a fast-growing company

 

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience in the FinTech industry
  • Previous experience using Salesforce CRM, online sales tools (such as LeadLander, iSell, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Sales Loft)
