Overview

We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to develop and execute the marketing strategy for our Payables Automation solution set.  The product marketing manager will work closely with our product managers to develop messaging & positioning, sales enablement tools, customer-facing content & assets; as well as outlining the marketing programs required for demand generation.

 

This ideal candidate will be well-rounded with experience leading marketing and launch activities for a product line – including both inbound and outbound marketing.  The ideal candidate will be a do-er.  We are looking for someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and own their role.  Our ideal candidate will be capable of thinking strategically and designing effective go to market strategies AND getting deep into the tactical execution of campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the product marketing strategy for the Payables Automation solution set.
  • Partner with sales managers to influence how the products are positioned during the sales process and identify opportunities to introduce sales enablement tools.
  • Manage competitive information in the Payables Automation space including, tracking market changes, creating battle cards, and developing competitive positioning and messaging to influence campaigns and sales enablement.
  • Create toolkits for marketing, sales and CS for all product releases & launches ensuring they are equipped to sell the solution. This include creating the messaging & positioning by user/buyer persona.
  • Ensure product marketing programs design and execution is aligned with strategic goals.
  • Define benchmarks and success metrics for the product line.  Work across teams to identify and drive actions to maximize product success.
  • Assist in implementing a win/loss analysis program and create report outs for the business on the findings and recommendations.
  • Leverage internal resources, customer feedback, and market research to help shape the product roadmap and aid with competitive analysis and positioning

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s in business or marketing
  • Very strong written communication skills
  • Highly organized, ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
  • Detail oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently across multi-departments
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong written and oral communications
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
