AmeriQuest is searching for an energetic and organized Marketing Communications Specialist. Primary responsibilities will include the management, editing, and production of a weekly and a bi-weekly, digital, brand newsletter, as well as the development and distribution of a variety of communications to promote member meetings. The successful candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in business marketing with proven experience in developing, drafting, and editing corporate communications, as well as a working familiarity with the creation (writing and editing) of digital newsletters. Must also be proficient in proofreading for language, grammar, syntax, and style.


This position will report to the Marketing Manager and will work closely with other members of the communications and marketing team, and will contribute to the success of the company’s overall strategy and goals.


  • Responsible for assembly, editing, production, and reporting of one weekly and one bi-weekly digital newsletter.
  • Interact with client representatives to determine and ensure appropriate content.
  • Management of member mailing list in conjunction with client.
  • Track and update member registrations for meetings.
  • Identify content that can be leveraged for distribution through social media channels.
  • Create engaging blurbs for social distribution, specifically related to client content.
  • Upload weekly blogs to client website.
  • Maintain a calendar of events and implement a system that enables and anticipates long-term planning and effective event management for the organization’s events.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing team members to effectively promote events to organization’s target audiences.
  • Strategically manage logistics and marketing deliverables of member meetings and company-attended events.
  • Manage and assist on all aspects of internal meetings for one of the company’s brands.
  • Be primary point of contact for client communications; maintain files and corporate writing style.
  • Assist with strategizing the development of company internal and external communications, as well as the writing and editing.
  • Help to execute marketing campaigns by aligning messaging to brand identity and purpose. Responsible to ensure message consistency of communications across platforms (e.g., social media, website, brochures, email communications).
  • Proofreading of marketing communications to align to corporate style. Knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style preferred.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience corporate marketing environment.
  • Detail-oriented, superior organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate budgets and effectively manage expenses.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), event management technologies (RegOnline), customer relationship management software (i.e., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics), and Photoshop, InDesign. Marketo experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work with members of senior management is essential.
  • Willingness to travel.
