  • Overview

    The Director of Product Strategy for Corcentric’s COR360 Payables Automation solution will have overall ownership and accountability for the solution and its components. This role is critical for the evolution of the company and requires a very committed individual who brings both specific product knowledge and a passion for the discipline of product management to the table.

     

    This highly visible, customer-facing leader will be the face of the solution and will bring deep experience with--and expertise in—the AP automation market segment to establish credibility. This individual is responsible for the big picture, identifying new product/revenue opportunities, driving the business plan, and leading a team of product managers to develop and execute the product roadmap.

     

    The individual will additionally function as a subject matter expert to the organization, possess the ability to communicate clearly and compellingly at all levels, and serve as a powerful evangelist that brings executive presence in all conversations.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and deliver the end-to-end product vision, strategy and execution of the COR360 Payables Automation solution
    • Drive revenue and profitability growth. Identify new product/revenue opportunities and build business plan to deliver them.
    • Work with the leadership team to set strategy, making challenging, high-judgment trade-off decisions as necessary.
    • Partner with the Sales and Marketing teams to support new opportunities as well as account planning/execution to retain/grow existing accounts.
    • Be the cross-functional leader, creative problem-solver, conflict resolver & motivator to remove organizational roadblocks to deliver on the product vision.
    • Serve as the go-to subject matter expert, the chief evangelist, the escalation path, and the problem solver with customers, prospects, industry analysts, and internal teams for assigned products.
    • Lead, manage and mentor product managers responsible for the day to day execution.
    • Other responsibilities as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 10 years in a Product leadership or closely-related role for a technology company, getting into the weeds and being the go-to expert for the product.
    • Demonstrable experience and expertise in Accounts Payable/Financial Services domain and technologies required, with past experience in Fintech company in the AP automation space, fully responsible for a key part of the product portfolio extremely desirable.
    • Undergraduate degree in business/technology or related field. An MBA and/or a degree in Computer Science (or the equivalent), or professional work experience as a software engineer is a huge plus.
    • Track record of shipping innovative, customer-centric, and successful products.
    • Experience with leading and developing a team.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport rapidly, to create a shared vision, to motivate others, to negotiate and influence decision-making among groups where there is no direct authority, and to resolve cross-functional conflict to achieve desired business outcomes.
    • Superior verbal and written communication skills including the ability to speak, present and write about detailed technical and process information in an organized, accurate and easily-understood manner, adjusting style to the purpose and audience.
    • Senior presence, with the ability to clearly and consistently partner with and lead cross-functionally across geographies and levels, internally and externally.
    • Excellent information gathering, analysis and professional judgment capabilities. Must be able to prioritize competing options and make sound decisions using information at hand, prior experience, and sound judgment.
    • Willingness and ability to travel.
