  • Overview

    The main objective of the Internal Communications Manager is to promote a positive and informative flow of information internally. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Internal Communications Manager drives and supports the development and execution of the internal communication experience across the company, organizing and sharing information that engages, aligns, and inspires employees with Corcentric’s vision, goals, strategy, and culture.

     

    Working collaboratively with Human Resources, senior management, and relevant departments, the Internal Communications Manager establishes and maintains two-way communication that elicits input from employees and encourages cross-employee communication and community building.

    Responsibilities

    • Creates and executes a comprehensive internal communication plan, in conjunction with Human Resources, detailing messaging, the impacted audiences, appropriate vehicles and timing.
    • Develops and manages various communications tools, including digital, printed, and online communications, employee meetings and events, internal announcements, videos, etc., that support effective communication throughout the organization.
    • Manages regular content for internal communication channels, ensuring all content is on brand, accurate, and signed off by appropriate stakeholders.
      • Writes employee news stories, corporate communications, executive speeches, and presentations.
      • Manages the daily editorial calendar for employee website; identifies stories, conducts interviews, assembles graphic support for stories.
    • Assists Human Resources in developing and distributing employee surveys as needed.
    • Participate in the planning and management of company Town Hall Meetings: create agenda; communicate to employees; organize presentation; coordinate with IT to present, record, and distribute afterward.
    • Helps to increase employee morale and productivity by enhancing understanding of key company strategies and each employee’s role in achieving company goals
    • Provide general strategic communications support for corporate functions and executives as determined by business priorities.
    • Coordinates with Human Resources to support communication around employee engagement activities across all locations:
    • Build buzz and raise awareness about leadership initiatives and team projects.
    • Refines processes and develops and operationalizes best practices internally as regards corporate messaging and internal communications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field required.
    • 3-5 years of internal communications experience necessary.
    • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to develop effective and engaging content which is easily understood by a diverse audience, in addition to experience in B2B marketing.
    • Knowledge of Human Resource tools and trends helpful
    • Familiarity with fintech terms, trends, and media preferred
    • Experience working in project management platforms, intranet/online communication portals, Word Press, MS Office.
    • Understanding of public relations and corporate communications best practices.
